NFL Week 9 Best Bets

• Pick – Bears –2.5 over Bills   Bet on this Game

The Chicago Bears are coming into this game after a long rest due to the bye week for them. They’ve had plenty of time to prepare for the Bills and I can’t see them losing this game even though they’re on the road. Buffalo hasn’t been able to pick up a win all year although they came real close last week, losing to the Chiefs in overtime. The Bears are 4-3 right now and will need a win this week to hang with the 5-3 Packers in the NFC North. Look for the Bears to move the ball on the ground and control the clock against a weak Bills rush defense. Surprisingly, the Bills have the 6th ranked passing defense in the league, so I don’t see Cutler doing too much through the air.

• Pick – Seahawks +6.5 over Giants   Bet on this Game

The Giants are 5-2 coming into this game and lead the NFC East while the Seahawks are a decent 4-3 and lead the NFC West right now although it’s a really weak division. Seattle has been a perfect 3-0 at home this season and has looked really good. Seattle is always a scary home team and I think they may be the hardest team in the entire league to play at home. The Giants defense has given up over 20 points per game on average this season, which isn’t great. Seattle has been questionable stopping the pass this season and will need to do a better job of pass coverage this week. Seahawks also don’t have a powerful offense, but they do manage to find ways to score at home. On paper it looks like the Giants should smoke the Seahawks, but I’ll take the +6.5 points at home.
